Sandblasting

Sandblasting: Abrasive Sandblasting is the operation of forcibly propelling a stream of abrasive sand material against a surface under high pressure to smooth a rough surface, roughen a smooth surface, shape a surface, or remove surface contaminants.

FPC’s Mobile Sandblasting Units can be rapidly deployed to the Clients Field Sites. These Units are 4x4 Driven like the Mobile Coating rigs. The typical Sandblast project will use a 375 cfm diesel tow behind compressor. Our Sandblast crews are capable of building tents and enclosures to minimize dust. We work in a timely manner completing the job to the desired specification in preparation for Protective Coating.

Inside Diameter Pipe Sandblasting:

Field Protective Coating Services has recently purchased advanced tooling equipment giving us the ability to sandblast the inside diameter of pipes in sizes ranging from  NPS 2in to NPS 36in.   This equipment will connect to our Mobile Sandblasting Unit giving us the ability to travel to any location.  Inside Diameter Sandblasting serves as superior method to clean pipe spools and joints of rust, scale and corrosion.  It also gives the client a surface preparation suitable for protective coatings that we can apply using our mobile coating units

Dry Ice Blasting: Dry Ice blasting uses compressed air to accelerate frozen carbon dioxide (CO2) "dry ice" pellets to a high velocity. Dry ice pellets can be made on-site or supplied. Pellets are made from food grade carbon dioxide that has been specifically approved by the FDA, EPA and USDA.

FPC has Mobile Dry Ice Blasting equipment. Please Contact for Rates regarding Dry Ice Blasting.
